Veritas Collaborative, a specialty hospital system for the treatment of eating disorders, today announced that Jim Standish has joined its executive team as chief financial officer.
“I am honored by the opportunity to welcome Jim to our senior leadership team,” said Stacie McEntyre, founder, president and CEO of Veritas Collaborative. “Our mission is to increase access to specialized eating disorder care. Jim’s onboarding will allow us to continue responsible management of our resources as we expand our reach to more patients, families, and communities in need of our services.”
Standish is a veteran finance executive with robust experience spanning the healthcare industry. He has not only led financial operations in community hospitals, but has also overseen large finance, accounting, and data and analytics teams for specialty care facilities, pharmacies, and retirement communities.
Prior to joining Veritas, Standish served as chief financial officer and controller for Injured Workers Pharmacy, a $190 million full-service pharmacy serving the overnight delivery needs of injured workers across all 50 states.
He also served as senior vice president and CFO for Masonicare, a hospital and healthcare services company with services ranging from acute and ambulatory surgical care to and outpatient behavioral health services. In that role, Standish was responsible for finance, treasury and investment, accounting and revenue cycle, reimbursement, risk management and insurance contracts.
Standish joined Veritas effective October 27 and is responsible for overseeing all financial operations and revenue cycle management for the organization.
“What drew me to Veritas was the opportunity to be a part of an organization that has developed an impeccable reputation for providing excellent patient care,” said Standish. “I am honored and proud to join the team and look forward to contributing my finance experience to help the company grow and thrive.”
Standish, a certified public accountant, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Healthcare Financial Management Association and The American College of Healthcare Executives.
