Our Favorite Recovery Podcasts
Here at Veritas Collaborative we love recovery resources and believe that creating a community is vital to keeping individuals on track with recovery. One of our current favorite ways to find support outside of direct treatment is podcasts! We wanted to share our love of recovery podcasts with you, so we compiled a list of our favorite eating disorder recovery podcasts.
We’re biased to Peace Meal, well, because we make it. Peace meal is a new eating disorder podcast hosted by The Emily Program. We cover topics ranging from eating disorders, body image issues, and how society may contribute to distorted thinking. We sit down with treatment staff, industry leaders, and those in recovery to discuss all things food and body. Not convinced? We also will be releasing “Recovery Stories” soon. These special episodes will feature personal stories and advice from those in recovery and beyond.
If you are interested in being on a recovery stories episode of Peace Meal, email us at email@example.com and we would love to help you share your story!
AnthroDish is a podcast hosted by PhD student Sarah Duignan that speaks to the intersection of food, culture, and identity. Sarah sits down with individuals from all different backgrounds to talk about what links us all: food. In addition to the phenomenal episodes that are currently out, our very own Jillian Lampert is going to be on an upcoming episode of AnthroDish, talking about the relationship between eating disorders, the brain, and biology.
