This month we highlight Amy Gerberry, MS, LPC.

Tell us about yourself!

Hello! I’m Amy Gerberry, and I am the Executive Director of the Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

Describe the career path that led you to Veritas.

I have been working in behavioral health for nearly 30 years, 20 specifically with eating disorders. I have worked in many treatment settings across the country in leadership and training positions and have known of Veritas since the site first opened.

What aspect of your new role are you most excited about?

I’m most excited about being able to work with this tremendous team and to have an opportunity to work with a reputable organization instilling quality treatment for lasting recovery.

Who or what inspires you?  

All the incredible patients, families, and colleagues I have had the privilege to work alongside inspire me every day.

How do you wind down after work?   

When I’m not at work, I will be spending time with my family and two dogs, Nala and Beau.

Any fun facts about you?

I’m an equestrian. I love horses and hope to re-engage in riding soon!
