On June 4, 2012, Veritas Collaborative opened its doors in Durham, North Carolina with the purpose of providing exceptional care for adolescents who are suffering from eating disorders. Since that day, our team has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for our patients and their families, while creating a warm, inviting environment in which our patients can have the best possibility for recovery.
Shortly after opening, the patients & staff of Veritas Collaborative were honored with a visit and performance from Tony Award-winning actress Victoria Clark. In both word and song, Victoria’s time with us was such a gift of hope and we are grateful for her visit. This is what Victoria shared about her experience:
“My visit to Veritas Collaborative was the highlight of my trip to North Carolina! I was amazed by the expertise of the staff & the warmth of the environment — a true haven for those seeking recovery from eating disorder illnesses. Only weeks since their grand opening, the people of Veritas Collaborative have already changed the lives of many young people & their families. Word will soon get out about Veritas, and people will be coming from around the world to experience this exceptional kind of care.”
