Practice Manager

Child, Adolescent & Adult Hospital – Atlanta, GA

My name is Shannon Wilcoxson and I joined the Veritas team over three years ago. My primary function is as the Practice Manager for the Atlanta Outpatient Center, along with overseeing the Atlanta hospital’s front desk administrative staff. My second role is as the Therapeutic Assistant for our IOP patients, assisting the treatment team with various recovery techniques for our patients. Nurturing our youth has always been my passion, and helping families obtain mental health treatment, specifically with eating disorders, brings me happiness. Driven by empathy, I take pride in connecting and understanding those struggling with mental health issues. When I am not keeping busy studying while pursuing my master’s degree in clinical psychology, I can be found at any of Georgia’s beautiful parks, reading books and people-watching.

  • - Kelly

“We didn’t know our child was as sick as she was. Our pediatrician referred us, and we finally got our child admitted about a month later. It’s worth the wait, worth the money, and well worth the time you’ll spend without your child. ED can be very lethal if left untreated!”
