Karlie Abrams, RDN, CSO, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics at Brigham Young University and completed a dietetic internship at Oregon Health & Science University. She has been working as a Registered dietitian for over 15 years, in a variety of different settings, with patients of all ages and various medical diagnoses. After a cross-country move in 2021, she discovered a passion for eating disorder treatment and shortly thereafter, secured a job at Veritas, where she has been working ever since. Karlie utilizes a weight-inclusive, non-diet, intuitive eating approach to nutrition. Through nutrition education and counseling, she aspires to help patients build healthy relationships with their bodies and make peace with food. She has worked with patients at PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care. Karlie is currently working towards becoming a certified eating disorder specialist. When not immersed in the world of eating disorders, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.

Larry J. Colby is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Secondary Education Teacher. Larry completed his bachelor’s in Secondary Education with a dual major in Speech Communication and Psychology at Eastern Michigan University in 2003. He completed his master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Walden University in 2013.

Larry has eight years of experience working in residential settings, five years of experience with intensive in-home counseling, and three years of experience with outpatient counseling. He is trained in ABA therapy, Clinical Trauma Therapy (CCTPI), TF-CBT, DBT, EMDR, Sandtray, Child-Centered Play, Theraplay, and Co-Parenting Training.

Larry believes in using interpersonal connections to allow others to build a base for discovering health, empowerment, love, and prosperity in their lives. He believes that healing requires us to set aside blame and focus on relationship building and problem-solving.

Anne Ganje, RD, LD is a Registered Dietitian who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders. She attended the State University of New York (SUNY) Empire State College in Latham, New York with a course emphasis on mind-body wellness, nutrition and weight-management. She received her bachelor’s degree with honors in Nutrition Science from Russell Sage College in Troy, New York. Anne earned her graduate certificate and completed her dietetic internship at Iowa State University where she focused her rotations on eating disorders and integrative health. She is passionate about helping others improve their quality of life through creating new patterns of eating and lifestyle. Anne understands the importance of individualized nutrition counseling.  She works closely with members of the treatment team to ensure high quality of care for each of her patients.

Lauren Magruder is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor. She obtained her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision in 2021 from Walden University. She received her Educational Specialist and Master of Arts degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from James Madison University. She has experience in various settings, including residential group homes, therapeutic day treatment, and outpatient settings. She was the clinical director at Veritas’ Richmond Center from 2019-2021. Her passion is working with multidisciplinary teams to provide excellent care to patients. Lauren is married and has one daughter, Logan. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and sports.
