Levels of Care

Acute Residential Care

Veritas Collaborative offers the acute residential level of care, a highly structured treatment program for medically stable patients requiring constant behavioral supervision and access to nursing care around-the-clock. While some individuals admit directly into acute residential treatment, many enter this level of care after inpatient hospitalization.

Acute Residential care is provided for persons, ages 8 and up as part of The Veritas Collaborative Child & Adolescent Program and The Veritas Collaborative Adult Program.

  • Eating disorder-specific internal medicine services, including 24-hour nursing care
  • Direct provision of psychiatric services with our psychiatric team a few times a week
  • Moderate TA Supervision
  • Individual, family, and group therapy with Veritas Collaborative’s team of psychotherapists, each of whom uses established and emerging evidence-based approaches to eating disorders care
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)-informed treatment groups
