Continuing Education Series on Eating Disorders

Veritas Collaborative is pleased to invite you to a free continuing education opportunity at our treatment center in Richmond, VA.


This is an introductory/intermediate level educational program designed for mental health professionals, dietitians, and health care providers.


Upon completion participants will be able to:

  • Describe 5 levels of care for individuals struggling with ED.
  • Explain clinical indicators used to determine appropriate level of care.
  • Identify and discuss the appropriate level of care for case-study patients presented.
  • Describe 2 assessment and treatment planning techniques for patients diagnosed with eating disorders.
  • Identify 3 risk factors for eating disorder relapse.
  • List at least 2 treatment approaches to manage changing metabolic needs in patients diagnosed with eating disorders.

This program will provide 3 contact hours.

Other health professionals will receive a certificate of attendance. Veritas Collaborative recommends that participants contact their local licensing boards for specific questions regarding the acceptance of these contact hours as continuing education credits.
