Charlie’s passion for cooking started at an early age. Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Charlie William Smith III first learned to cook under the tutelage of his southern grandmother, JoAnn Parson. Even today, his grandmother encourages him to reach his dream of becoming a “Master Chef.”
Charlie graduated from The Chefs Academy in Morrisville with high honors in November of 2014. It was there that he received his Associates Degree of Applied Science in Culinary Arts and expanded his culinary skills to include meat fabrication, pastry-making, dining room management, purchasing and ordering, and the practice of ServSafe.
