Felicia is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Behavioral Health. At UMD, she was a delegate for the Associate Dean’s Leadership Council, a member of the Biological Honor Society, National Honor Society, and a member of the CIVICUS academic, leadership, and community service program. Felicia completed her Physician Assistant training and Masters of Science degree in Health Sciences at The George Washington University in Washington D.C., where she also served as Vice President of the Health Science Student Council. Felicia was a National Health Service Corps Scholarship recipient and following graduation moved away from the big city to practice medicine in a health professions shortage area for an under-served community. Felicia continues to serve as an ambassador to the National Health Service Corps.
Felicia is well versed as both a medical practitioner as well as administrator. She has functioned as the Clinical Director of a large occupational medicine and urgent care center, as well as served as the Assistant Center Medical Director. She is experienced in primary care, urgent care, occupational medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, level one trauma, general & trauma surgery, and is a travel health specialist. She is nationally certified as a Physician Assistant, and remains an active member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Assistants with whom she is certified as a clinical preceptor.
Felicia is excited to serve with the Veritas Collaborative team, and is inspired and humbled by the patients and their families as they journey along the path to recovery.
