Meredith has been a proud member of the Veritas team since before our doors first opened in the spring of 2012. Before coming to Veritas, Meredith received her Bachelor of Arts in Music from Furman University. Since moving to Durham, NC, she has worked at Duke University, first as Staff Assistant for Chapel Music and then as Coordinator of Events and Weddings, where she discovered that working with brides- and grooms-to-be was—while full of challenges and growth opportunities—not her calling in life. Meredith then began a job as a front line staff member at Carolina House in Durham, where she first gained experience in working with persons suffering from eating disorders. She has taken an unusual path to reach her current role and is grateful for the incredible experience gained with each twist and turn.
Meredith has a passion for providing supervision and support for our TA team, who, in turn, are charged with providing compassionate supervision and support for our patients at Veritas. She is particularly fond of identifying and developing individual and team strengths, as well as creating, evaluating, and improving inter- and intra-departmental systems. She is so very happy to be a part of this team and is excited to look ahead with her colleagues as Veritas continues to grow and provide more access to best-practice eating disorder care.
