Rachele received her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Rachele joined Teach For America and relocated to San Antonio, TX. Rachele worked as a Satellite English as a Second Language teacher, traveling to three different schools daily, including an alternative academic campus for students with educational and behavioral needs. This professional experience influenced Rachele to pursue a career in mental health. During graduate school, she interned at El Futuro, a non-profit mental health organization that serves the Spanish-speaking community in Durham, NC, and surrounding areas, where she gained assessment and clinical skills and provided outpatient therapy. Rachele also helped to launch a collaborative among El Futuro; The Learning Trail, a non-profit educational organization that provides tutoring and academic services to low-income, Spanish-speaking students and their families in Chatham County, NC; and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Prior to joining Veritas Collaborative, Rachele provided Intensive In-Home as well as Outpatient therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and PTSD. Rachele is a native of Pittsburgh, PA, and she enjoys hobbies such as Latin dance, yoga, and cooking.
