Wendy is a certified secondary science and health teacher. In 2009, Wendy made the transition from occupational therapy to teaching full-time in a variety of environments, from middle school science to university-level anatomy and physiology courses. She taught in both Florida and North Carolina, including an adjunct position at UNC Chapel Hill.
Wendy enjoys working with a broad range of students in varied grades and different learning styles. Her passion is creating a safe learning environment and seeing her students progress and advance in the classroom and life.
As a practicing Occupational Therapist, Wendy spent over fifteen years working to help others create and continue a more productive and fulfilling life, overcoming whatever obstacles may be in the way. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from Western Governor’s University and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.
A native of Florida, Wendy really enjoys living in North Carolina, where the seasons change on a regular basis!
