Lauren Tinkey

Lauren Tinkey, MS, RDN, LDN, manages all Nutrition Services at Veritas Collaborative’s Child, Adolescent, & Adult Center in Charlotte, NC. In her role, she manages Nutrition Department personnel, including Registered Dietitians and Dietitian Technicians, conducts and coordinates clinical care for PHP, IOP, and OP levels of care, and manages operational functions of the site’s culinary and food service needs. She also oversees and manages all responsibilities required to promote the effectiveness and efficiency of the Nutrition Department. 

Lauren attended the University of Georgia and completed her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. She co-founded the Sports Nutrition Association for Pre-Professionals and worked under the Sports Dietitians with UGA’s Division I athletes. Lauren then completed the Coordinated Dietetics Program to earn her Master of Science in Health Sciences, Nutrition. Prior to Veritas, Lauren continued to build her clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian while advancing her creativity and management skills working for start-ups. She was a Clinical RDN Consultant for Emory Hospital, Client Development Specialist & Social Media Director for Perfectly Portioned Nutrition and Wellness, and Client Relations Manager for Windy O’Connor Art & Home.

Lauren constitutes a work-hard and play-hard balance. When not at work, Lauren is seeking out her adrenaline fix as an adventure sports enthusiast, tackling a jigsaw puzzle, scheming a book swap, or playing a round of golf.
