Leaning Toward | Collaboration & Recovery Webinar

Avoidance can feel safe, and isolation can feel familiar and comforting, especially for the eating disorder. In these moments, we must lean toward our current situation and make space for the uncomfortable. In this webinar, we will talk about the importance of sitting with the uncomfortable feelings, learn ways to cope, and discuss how to find the ‘silver lining’ in difficult situations. We will also use this time to learn and/or review strategies from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) that can be helpful as we focus on ‘leaning toward.’
