This privacy policy applies to all visitors of our website, except to the extent such visitors provide protected health information (“PHI”); the Veritas Collaborative’s practices in relation to PHI is set forth in our Notice of Privacy Practices.


Information We Collect

Information you give us: We receive and store information you enter on our site, such as name, email address, and phone number. This includes information you submit on forms, such as appointment request forms. Some forms collect sensitive information, such as health information, necessary for us to provide our services to you, which may be subject to our Privacy Policy linked above to the extent such information is considered PHI. 

We also use cookies and pixels from third-party partners for marketing and analysis purposes. “Cookies” are small computer files transferred to your device that contain information such as user ID, user preferences, a list of pages visited, and activities conducted while using the website. “Pixels” (aka web beacons or clear GIFs) are invisible graphic images embedded in a web page that may be used to collect information about your use of our website.

Facebook/Instagram: A pixel is used to track activity and events of those who click a Facebook or Instagram advertisement that leads to Veritas Collaborative’s website. Activity and events are tracked to optimize campaign performance. Targeting is based on gender, age, location, and lookalike audiences. Retargeting is based on user behavior. Twitter: A pixel is used to track activity and events of those who click a Twitter advertisement that leads to Veritas Collaborative’s website. Activity and events are tracked to optimize campaign performance. Targeting is based on demographics and gender. No sensitive personal information is shared to the platform. Google Analytics: Google Analytics uses cookies that are stored on your computer to facilitate an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by these cookies, such as time, place, and frequency of your visits to our site, including IP address, is transmitted to Google’s location in the U.S. and stored there. Google states that your IP address will never be associated with other data held by Google.

Google Tag Manager: Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a tag management system used to manage Javascript and HTML tags used for tracking and analytics on websites. Tags are small code elements that are used to measure traffic and visitor behavior. We use GTM to track and manage tags used for advertising.

Email Communications

Communications that you send to us via the email links on our site may be shared with a customer service representative, employee, clinician, or agent that is most able to address your inquiry. We make every effort to respond in a timely fashion once communications are received.
