Laurie Conteh is the Manager of Nutrition Services for the RTP location at Veritas Collaborative and has been treating patients with eating disorders for over 15 years. She has clinical experience in all levels of care and a vast amount of leadership experience.
Laurie graduated summa cum laude from North Carolina Central University with a Master’s of Science in Dietetics and earned a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Florida State University. In addition, she has a Certification in Adult and Pediatric Weight Management from the American Dietetic Association.
Her clinical eating disorder experience started at UNC’s Eating Disorder Program in Chapel Hill, NC. She was one of the pioneers for the nutrition program there and quickly discovered and continued to grow a strong passion in this field. In time, she advanced to more leadership roles overseeing the eating disorder program along with all outpatient nutrition programs at UNC Hospitals. In 2012, she was awarded North Carolina Young Dietitian of the Year in honor of her hard work and dedication to the nutrition profession and helping others. Prior to joining Veritas, Laurie was the Assistant Director for Duke University Medical Center Clinical Nutrition Department in Durham, NC.
