Madeline is a Licensed Clinic Social Worker in North Carolina. She possesses a master’s degree in Social Work, with a specialization in mental health. She also possesses a bachelor’s degree in Social Work with a minor in sociology. Madeline acquired both her bachelor’s and master’s degree from Loyola University Chicago.
Madeline was involved in volunteer opportunities during her college experience that allowed her to begin her work with children and adolescents. Madeline later served as a wellness center counselor intern at a local Chicago community college. There, Madeline provided individual counseling as well as community mental health outreach services to college students. She has also worked as a behavioral health in-home therapist for children and adolescents with various mental health diagnoses.
Madeline has experience working with individuals with eating disorders across various levels of care. She believes in an empowerment approach, and is committed to the field of eating disorder treatment. She utilizes CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) principles in therapy sessions to provide a supportive environment that fosters positive change and growth. She is dedicated to supporting individuals and families through the eating disorder treatment process, and is passionate about helping individuals develop positive coping mechanisms and apply their personal strengths to promote long term recovery.
