Partial Hospitalization

A structured day treatment environment

Partial hospitalization care occurs six or seven days a week and comprises individual and group therapies with a focus on family/community of support involvement. PHP is suitable for individuals who are medically stable and in need of daily, structured programming, but not 24-hour supervision, and are currently unable to maintain their recoveries in an outpatient environment.

What is PHP Care?

Partial hospitalization care can be the treatment entry point for an individual’s recovery journey from anorexia, bulimia, or another eating disorder, or the next step along the way from acute residential care. Our weekly group and family/community of support programming is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)-informed and includes medical monitoring. Aspects of family-based treatment are also incorporated into child and adolescent programming and available for adults. Additional programming includes individual, specialized support from a multidisciplinary team comprising a medical provider, psychiatrist, registered dietitian, and psychotherapist. Individuals admitted for partial eating disorder hospitalization benefit from a schedule that facilitates recovery close to home and close to those who matter most.
