Partial Hospitalization
A structured daytime treatment environment
Partial hospitalization care occurs six or seven days a week and comprises individual and group therapies with a focus on family/community-of-support involvement. This level of care is suitable for individuals who are medically stable and in need of daily, structured programming but not 24-hour supervision, and who are currently unable to maintain their recovery in an outpatient environment.
Components of Partial Hospitalization Care
Partial hospitalization care can be the treatment entry point for an individual’s recovery journey, or the next step after acute residential care.
