Partial Hospitalization

A structured daytime treatment environment

Partial hospitalization care occurs six or seven days a week and comprises individual and group therapies with a focus on family/community-of-support involvement. This level of care is suitable for individuals who are medically stable and in need of daily, structured programming but not 24-hour supervision, and who are currently unable to maintain their recovery in an outpatient environment.

Levels of Care

We begin treatment at the level most appropriate for each individual’s needs.

About Veritas Partial Hospitalization Care

Partial hospitalization care can be the treatment entry point for an individual’s recovery journey from anorexia, bulimia, or another eating disorder, or the next step after acute residential care. Our weekly group and family/community-of-support programming is informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy and includes medical monitoring. Aspects of family-based treatment are also incorporated into our child and adolescent programming and are available for adults. Additional programs include individual, specialized support from a multidisciplinary team consisting of a medical provider, a psychiatrist, a registered dietitian, and a psychotherapist. Individuals admitted for partial eating disorder hospitalization benefit from a schedule that facilitates recovery close to home and close to those who matter most.
